The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning all
:frow Good morning DMC, have a great day. Spending the day with Sue. Plan on taking her outside today to the court yard.

Enjoy the day Bob, and say hello for me!
Good morning, all - I'll be away until next Thursday - see you then.
Safe travels!

I can’t believe how many people here are not taking it seriously. I don’t wear a mask but I’m not in anyone’s face and I social distance. I use hand sanitizer before I go into a place of business and when I get back in my vehicle. I try to touch only what I have too. We don’t have too many cases compared to other areas. There are 22 cases in the county I work in and 14 in the county I live in. I agree this is nowhere near over.
masks are one of the biggest misinformation issues. Wear a mask please

I can’t do the mask as I am a bit claustrophobic. I would touch my face more with it then without. My glasses steam up too. I just won’t go out. I’ve seen several store employees at more then 1 store pull their masks off their noses or put them around their neck and pull them up when they check people out. Makes no sense.

Maybe they're also claustrophobic but have to wear it or ditch the job. I hate the darn things but we're having a terrible time with Covid here right now.

Sometimes I wonder how seriously some people take this stuff. Or maybe they feel they can't afford to take off work? Either way, it's not fair to expose other people.
Nope, knowing they had a positive at home they shouldn't have been going to work. WAY too many positives do not show symptoms but they can spread it just as easily as someone who has symptoms .

What we on the East coast faced early on others are now having to deal with.
The sad thing (one of them??) is that when NJ and NY got hit hard it was early on and people didn't have much information. All the flares now are unnecessary, should have learned from those that went before.

Hi everyone... popping in to say I am alive and reasonably well.
Yay!! I was starting to wonder. Sounds like the house is moving along well.

Hope you both have a lovely day.

I had direct contact too. We were working in the kitchen at the same time. I washed my hands and I hope she did too. I’m not stressing. I hope I don’t get it though. I do use sanitizers before I go in and after I come out of places.

:fl you've dodged that bullet.

I am worried about all of you over there.

Had to share some photos of our chicks.

I had Squeaks (the OEGB pullet) on one arm this morning and the two Waipahi's on the other. The two Waipahi's were heavier. They are 3 weeks old, Squeaks is 10 weeks.

There is nothing feminine about Bikkie. 🤣 He's a lot heavier than his sister.

got to go in the nursing home to see my sissie today, she had fallen last week, or maybe the first of this past week, either way i found out two day after, she fractured her hip, when i was informed i decided not to let them operate on her hip(i remember how that turned out for my mil) so today i get another call from the visiting nurse telling me i should go see her that shes not doing well, she has a liquid cough and going down hill. i was surprised that they allowed us in but i got to see her and talk to her, she didn't open her eyes ( one eye) til the of the visit when i was holding her hands and telling her i loved her. shes lost a lot of weight and now doesn't talk, but she will grunt at you i guess to let you know she knows you're there. i suppose its getting time for her to leave
