Well the trip to the Vet with Lollie was to be expected I suppose considering how advanced his heart disease has come these last 6 months. The Vet said its getting quite advanced now, lots of fluid around his heart enough to displace it. Its beating with such force it gives the impression he has tremors, his body shakes that much. The heart is beating quite abnormally now, valves flapping, only half the heart is working. In the past a medication adjustment lasted about 2 months, then it was time to add or increase a dosage. Vet says there are no more meds to add but has increased the meds to their max now. He isn't in any pain and still seems to enjoy life as much as an elderly dog can. Time to just appreciate every moment with him now, I think we are in the final stretch with him.
