So far the fires have been north and south of us. We have not had smoke and ash here yet this year. For the last several years, the fires have been worse in Sept to October

Thanks! I lock all my outdoor cats up at night for the same reason...coyotes and fox.

Oh my gosh!! We are at 80. There was a nice breeze but it’s going down. I have my clotheslines full. It’s clouding up and it was supposed to be full

Hattie usually barks when she hears them, that’s why we wondered where the heck she was. Never gave it a thought that our son had her. A simple text....

We have thick mist here and it's 38 outside. So I'm glad we kept our chicken that needed a spa day inside overnight. Because I used the hair dryer on her (and I don't use it - I only bought it for chicken emergencies) DS, who is 9, decided he should blow dry his hair after his bath. 🤣
