The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning folks :frow

Cynthia, I really hope that bug runs its course quickly for you. Last time I had coughing fits like you describe, I cracked a rib. Just hoping you get well quickly.:hugs

I spent years living in the metric system, never had an issue except for temps. I bought indoor and outdoor thermometers that measured Fahrenheit because back then, the internet didn't exist and the calculations were just way too hard for an uncaffeinated brain.

Good morning everyone!
:frow Good morning Debby, have a great day

morning everyone:frow
believe it or not, i'm cold. its 61 here this morning but going up to 79
:frow Good morning Sharron, have a great day. We're a bit warmer than you but I do love the cool mornings.

guess we;re going over to the swap this morning, suppose to meet a friend and pick up a shelf hes bringing us, we bought three shelves at the auction last monday but could only fit two into the Subaru so since he was coming this way today for the swap he said he would bring it for us, for his trouble i'll take him a five gallon bucket full of yellow beans

morning rj:frow
i like cool for sleeping but not for anything else(except for working in the garden)

Chickens! :barnie (I had to share that.) Q.WHY? A. They tore up my newly planted garden this morning, (before I could even get the fencing up).
Well, lemonade from lemons ... at least they didn't get it torn up when you were just about to harvest. Were these transplants or seeds? If the former can you get more?

who would have thought a chicken would jump
Me! I've seen mine jump for the ornamental cherries and bittersweet nightshade berries.

but only the six packs bottles of the diet (Dr. Pepper)
ick! I'd go cold turkey before I drank that.

no one seems to listen, or very few
We have had one way grocery aisles for months. Usually when I go the store isn't very busy and I've been known to go the wrong way to get something from the middle if there is no one else in the aisle and I don't need anything from the aisles on either side.

Let's not do centigrade or Kelvin either then!
Kelvin is harder but Centigrade is easy if you know Celsius since they are the same thing :D

for his trouble i'll take him a five gallon bucket full of yellow beans
That seems akin to giving someone a massive zucchini! Maybe he cans them and will be very happy with 5 gallons of beans.
