I just found her wandering outside the pen! I don't know where she was earlier, they all come running whenever I call them...looking for a treat! I'm so relieved that we don't have a predator on the loose!
Glad you found her! Do you suppose she has a nest out there in the weeds?

Hi Deb! Nice to see you are still with us ;) Missing due to just too much to do with your house?

it's Monday people!!! get a move on!!
I'm moving, I'm moving! Sheesh what a slave driver ;)

Fed the cats, chickens and alpacas. Got the alpacas' temporary small pen closed off. Vet coming later this morning to do Laddie's teeth. They are quite long, I really should have called probably a couple of years ago. I have no idea how the vet plans to keep him still, he really doesn't like to be handled though he was better about getting sheared last Thursday than the prior 2 times. We've actually skipped him twice when we did Teddy because he fights so hard. We (sister in law and I) sheared Teddy yesterday and the stand is still in the alpacas' part of the alley just in case the vet thinks it would be useful.

Now I'm feeding me :D

Sounds like you've already had a busy day Bruce. Good luck with the alpaca teeth!

Good morning all! :frow I hope you have a great day!

Good morning everyone!
Good morning Debby!

Good morning folks :frow

The beef and broccoli from the site you shared is good, so is the Italian sausage. But this is one of my favorites. https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/73634/colleens-slow-cooker-jambalaya/

:frow Good morning Debby, have a great day
Good morning Bob! I'll have to check this recipe out!

Hi Bob, that jambalaya looks good! I've printed the recipe off and will add it to the things to try.

The General Tso's Chicken was a big hit here last night. And plenty of leftovers for lunch today. Here's the recipe if you want to take a look: slow-cooker-general-tsos-chicken The only change I made was using just half the brown sugar (1/4 cup instead of 1/2) and I used 1/2 teaspoon dried ginger instead of 1/4. Also, next time I'm going to double the sauce ingredients, the rice tends to soak it up. Very good stuff though!
Thank you for the recipe Debby...I might try this for dinner today. We are canning beans & tomatoes, so a slow cooker meal will be perfect!

Good morning everyone :)
Good morning Chrissy!

morning debby, rj chrissy and everyone
have a great day :frow :frow :frow :frow
Good morning Sharon!

Good morning Bruce!
Thank you. This is the first time she's been out of the pen, she could have laid an egg outside of it yesterday, but I'm hoping her escape was a fluke & it won't happen again!
