The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I don't understand how even the bottom of a pile of paper can be covered in dust!

I'll let you know about the Switch. We have Super Smash Bros which I used to play with my son back in the day. Did you play with your boys?

When we first got a Nintendo the whole family played. The boys quickly outpaced me on Zelda but I could do ok on Mario Bros. My favorite was the Game Boy and what my kids dismissively called "clicky games" (match 3 games).

I haven't heard from blooie in a long time how she's well....

Well look who's here...PHIL! I haven't seen you in about forever, good to see you! :D

afternoon dr :frow
doing a few tomatoes today, trying to cook them down now, want to make sauce with these and the next bunch, i think we have enough whole tomatoes and if i can find a v8 knock off, might try to make that since we love the spicy stuff
enjoy your weekend too
Sharron, you might want to give this a try. Scale it back at first. I use a steam juicer for this. Also, since you like spicy, I'd double the Jalapeno.

Wow, that's a whole lot of vegetables! Looks like it would be good for you and a good way of using up a lot of garden excess.

i sure will, i don't have a steam juicer tho, i should be able to do everything in a blender tho, then cook and can, thanks rj

Sharron, The recipe above in a steam juicer produces 10 Qts of what we call Bouillon (crystal clear juice without pulp) and 16 pints of vegetable Sauce (that's where the pulp went) which works well for just about any tomato sauce recipe. The Bouillon also works well as a vegetable stock.
i might just invest in a steam juicier, any recommendations
