We live near the Columbia river & if there are any major fires to the north of us it funnels down through a section we call the gap. We've been fortunate so far this year & haven't had as many fires as there has been the last several years. I hope it clears out for you soon!

Come out here featherhead. Nice fresh air out here. As soon as I stay inside for awhile. Had nothing to eat but a can of pork and beans. But that effect may hopefully be worn off before you get here.

I'd gladly send you a stiff breeze to blow the smoke away. It's very windy here at the moment. If only I could bottle it.

Had to share a cute photo of the cat. Our stove has a wood box underneath but the cat has found a better use for it.
