We are having our 13th heat wave of the summer. As far as heat waves go, it is not a bad one. The hottest day is supposed to hit 102F for a high.

We have a couple of new fires in Santa Rosa and Helena

Good morning everyone! We got our son & his family moved out of their house & settled, well for the next month or so...hopefully they will find an apartment soon where they can have their cats & dog!
Now, I'm going to kick back & read through almost 20 pages of what's been happening with you all this past week.

Back in my military days, we had Mandatory (well they said optional, but it wasn't an event you wanted to miss unless you liked the worst possible duty) golf outings. I don't golf. Last tournament we were in, my team won. It was a best ball competition, they put the 4 worst golfers on one team and it turns out each of us had at least one strength and the four of us made one good golfer. Still hard to remember though, the morning started with brandy in the coffee and the bar cart followed us around the course.

never understood the golf thing---hit a ball, chase it, hit it again....wearing ugly clothes and silly hats

DH doesn't have that, but he does have a remote controlled bag that he enjoys a lot. It's funny to see it running along side of him (or ahead of him) on the course.

I'm so not a sports person, I was the person who skipped gym class so I didn't have to participate or get hit by something . If your not hitting it something then your throwing it and I was also the one that would duck from anything coming at me .
