It's a par 3...I'm proud to say hubby birdied it! They tee off from the shore to the green. It was 165 yards to the hole. They can change the distance by moving it, though they probably change the distance by just moving the tee boxes!
I'm sure there are too, I imagine that they have divers that collect them from time to time! If you put your ball into the water, there is a drop zone near the green that you chip from! It's a fun hole to play!

Sorry to hear your SIL isn't well, hope it's nothing contagious.

I don't know about that particular course, but DH frequently cuts new holes on his greens (refilling the old one of course). Depending on how large the green is, that can make quite a difference in yardage to the hole.
 
Boy, so many of you getting around to here and there. We don't dare because the virus had spiked do bad in our county. They're trying to decide what more they can do. With two colleges in our county, it's no wonder. The kids have been warned to stop having parties. 🙄. Teens..it's gotta be tough. Anyway, they're saying no big crowds or even outside family members that we know aren't social distancing. I'm not too happy about my kids here going as much as they do. DIL works, and they go to her family.. her mom works. I need to stay well for the upcoming surgery. If I get sick I probably wouldn't be able to have the surgery for months. Ugh. You all stay safe out there. I hear it's rising in a lot of states. Cold season is here.

I don't go anywhere I don't have to so my trips out of the house are pretty much limited to grocery shopping, gas station and post office. About once a month I do go to see the progress on our house in Casper, but since DH is doing all the work on that, I don't worry about it.

On the other hand, my 90 year old mother goes out and about as much as she always has. And has various people over to her house. She doesn't worry but I do.
