They are very sweet! The boy is huge too. You can see the coon cat markings when he was a kitten. He has gone more black now so they do not show up like they did

My Opie was a stray, he adopted us by just showing up at the door around Thanksgiving 2016 and made himself right at home. He's the boss of the house now.

Strays can make for some wonderful pets, I think they appreciate being cared for.

We had a female cat come live with us. She walked into the garage like it was her place.

I had her spayed and she lived with us for a couple of years. When she passed, the vet said she was over 16 or so years old

That's a nice long life, especially for one that lived as a stray.

We adopted them from a rescue. They were living near a trailer park and were rescued after their Mom and two siblings starved to death.

They do well here!

They will not go outside though. They might remember how bad it was out there for them

They will hopefully feel confident to venture one day, into a safe garden.
