The pictures finally loaded @Grammy60 that view is quite beautiful but the deck looks scary. I bruised my tailbone as a teenager slipping on icy cement no fun but I got away with being lazy

I broke my two front teeth off by slipping on ice!

I've only been to the door, but Bob is walking very slow when he goes out. There are multiple layers of yucky stuff .

Wind shields completely shattered. And roofs bashed in.

I think we're on the 4th day of no power. Lost 3 incubators of eggs... and the living room has assorted bins of various ages of chicks. It's not the best situation. No water, no fridge. Hubby has an inverter and is powering the freezer. A neighbor loaned us her small generator, so the birds have a bit of light. The woodstove has been burning pretty much constantly. So at least we are warm, although kind of smelly. Lol.
