Good! I don't know exactly where you live north of Auckland but figured you weren't coastal. It was a BIG one!


Classic sign of a tidal wave coming. Was there any damage?

Thankfully no damage, just a bit of a scare for everyone. Better to be safe than sorry though.

I have far too many animals to pack into a car should disaster strike, so inland is where I will stay. If I want to see the ocean I'll visit - I don't need to see it out my window every day. I like hills and trees more anyway.
