Nope, the govt is paying for it. I'm sure there are a lot of people who couldn't afford it or would choose not to get vaccinated if they did have to pay. Then there are all the people who won't take the vaccine.

You don't need to hurry to vaccinate in NZ, you have no cases and are an island MILES (KILOMETERS!) from any other land mass full of infected people! :D

I have a 3 bay box and a 4' long open box. Guess where the favored place to lay is? Yep, the LEFT side of the box and it doesn't matter is someone is already there. Either the hen in the box is chased out if she is lower in the order or they squish in if they are equals.

I don’t have time to cite articles atm but the vaccines are only believed to lessen the symptoms or prevent death from two strains and there are variants within our own country. Vaccine makers and our Army are trying to make a universal vaccine protective against them all.
