Our water used to come from ground water and was very hard. Now the water is from Lake Shasta and is magnitudes softer!

We’re as far as we’re going for now. The bathrooms are done. The mudroom needs flooring yet and then we can do the trim. It would have been done by now but the carpenter that built the mudroom did not build the floor high enough so we have to add at least 1/2” plywood so it transitions to the laundry room. This carpenter is good and much sought after so I’m not sure what happened. Frustrating! At least we can use it. We did go and pick up flooring the other day so it’s ready to go when we get ambitious again:lol:

I like the flooring DMC, it's going to look good!

I love that color! We need to do the floor in the living room but there’s a curve where carpet meets tile and I’m not so sure we’re up for that

Thank you! This is going to be a project also. We’re ripping the carpet up in the dining room and the tile in front of the wood fireplace as it will never be used. I wish hubby would take the fireplace out but he’s afraid of opening a can of worms. It is so drafty. I’m excited for this new flooring but it will probably be awhile before we start.
