@bruceha2000 The cold is ok if I'm in a nice warm room with plenty of windows and a working fireplace. When I hit my 60s, I started to understand the expression "bone chilling".
I do love the snow...until it melts and make slush-swamp. Lol. I'll just keep on missing the mountains.

There have been evacuations but I have not read about any deaths yet. Luckily it is not a heavily populated place.

Our rain was headed to Cali so maybe that will help put the fires out.

We are due to be in the 95-105* range for the next few days. Between the heat and the smoke, people are being urged to stay inside if possible. After that, hopefully, it will cool down into the 80's with the possibility of some rain.
