The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

On Saturday I'll be looking at a fifth wheel camper I'm excited about. Looks pretty decent from the pictures but just want to make sure there is no water damage or anything bad in person
Check the corners of the camper especially where the air conditioners water runs down. How old is it? If it’s been wet it will probably smell musty.
Good afternoon everyone :)
Hi Mad!
I like when it's warm enough to go without a jacket but cool enough to leave the windows open 💜
That would be about 65 for me:lol:
I dread next months PGE Bill!

The usage site said I was using about the same as last year but they have increased the rates this year.
Our bill was up $100 from A/C this past month.

Good tip on the camper DMC :thumbsup

Our heating and cooling bills take turns, summer it's a high cooling bill and winter it's a high heating bill.

We're at 95* right now and the smoke isn't helping. BUT, on Thursday it's supposed to be 68* with some rain...that sounds heavenly!

Our last camper which was our first had damage. It looked good but had an odd smell. We googled it and air conditioner run off was one of the problems. I found an odor remover under the pull out couch.
We don’t use the electric furnace much in the winter. We use the storage heater and gas fireplace. The living room is warm and the rest of the house is cold or cool.
We have chances of rain several days coming up and I pray we get it. I hope you get some too Debby.

This coming up winter, we will have a new way to heat. The mini split I installed is a heat pump.

I do not know if we will use it for heating though.

The air quality in Redding where my Mom and Sister lives is:

Holy cats, I found it!! Buried in with some wrapping paper and maps...my marriage certificate!

Whew, I'm framing this sucker and hanging it on the wall so I don't lose it again.
:lau that's a good idea!

:frow hope you're doing well!

Our bill typically ranges between 150-400. Mostly due to having a built-in pool. We just fixed the pump 2 years ago. My parents lived here before and they claim with the old pool pump, they never paid anything less than $400 every month.
