@swampfox440

Mark, congratulations on your new Greeter award! :clap
Hey! Congratulations @swampfox440
Mark, that is wonderful and very much earned!
@Marie2020

Marie, congratulations on your new Friend award!
And congratulations to you @Marie2020 I am so happy for you!

Thank you all for the warm wishes and prayers for MIL. She is drinking and eating a little, and is more alert. Still has a headache, but that is to be expected.
The daughters came through, so I got to work today. It is amazing how getting out of the house, for a few hours, can lift ones spirits. 🌞

That's a good report about your MIL, glad she's making progress Janie!

I've been on the phone with the vet as Clara seems to be presenting with a prolapse. Apparently this happens sometimes (more likely with multiple births) and the ewe will think she's in labour and start pushing, but she's actually not and ends up pushing out some of the birth canal. It's not serious at the moment but we are keeping a close eye on her. If it gets worse the vets may have to stitch it to keep it in place. Fingers crossed it doesn't get that bad.

It's a learning curve that's for sure!

Poor girl, that doesn't sound pleasant. I'll keep my fingers crossed that all goes well.
