I'm gonna try it. I don't know if I've seen frozen cherries at the store, will have to look. Seems the only cherry pie filling one can find here is the super sweet canned gooey stuff and finding canned cherries that aren't Maraschino is near impossible. How do they expect one to make a Black Forest Cake?????

I find the frozen cherries in with the other frozen fruits at the grocery stores here Bruce. So you make a good Black Forest Cake? That's one of DH's favorites, maybe you can share your recipe sometime.

DW makes it Usually for my birthday. Sister-in-law was here this year and found some canned sour cherries at a small market in the town my in-laws live in 30 miles south of here. I had checked EVERY grocery store up here and they are big chain stores.

Busy day here, I had PT and another appointment with one of my Neuro doctors, we didn't get home until after 1 .

To start the day, we lost power yet again !!

Thank you. Good day today, she is up and to the bathroom alone. She is much more alert.

I've been on the phone with the vet as Clara seems to be presenting with a prolapse. Apparently this happens sometimes (more likely with multiple births) and the ewe will think she's in labour and start pushing, but she's actually not and ends up pushing out some of the birth canal. It's not serious at the moment but we are keeping a close eye on her. If it gets worse the vets may have to stitch it to keep it in place. Fingers crossed it doesn't get that bad.

It's a learning curve that's for sure!

I hope Clara is doing better, poor girl. Good luck to you both!

The cat is adjusting very well. She has to, our kitten, June is going to be her friend, whether she likes it or not.

Thanks Ron ! I have computer troubles. This thing had a crash yesterday . I restored it last night at the moment I have no control bars . I am limping along trying to answer posts with no control, so If anyone is wondering what happened to Mark he is looking into new computers .

I've given up computers, mostly. I use my extra large phone for everything. I bought a Samsung Note when they came out several years ago, and have stuck with the brand ever since then. I'm on the 10, now. I've found that the learning curve is much easier on my phone.
