The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Hi Mad! Thanks!

Thanks Bob you too!

Doing good Debby thanks! How about you? Is hubs still home? Yup, surgery tomorrow at 0900. Monday I made the girl help me clean house and even got the floors done. Yesterday I binge watched the rest of a series on Netflix and watched a couple movies. Today is a little of this and a little of that. Going to do the fridge and freezer next, it’s scary in there! Just got done putting some jerky in the dehydrator, it marinated for two days this time so hopefully it’ll have some good flavor.

Best wishes with tomorrow's surgery IM :hugs

DH left on Monday, employee issues. Insert big eye roll here...he only has 2 right now, a married couple. But he plans on coming back for the weekend!

Busy lady!

Good morning everyone and thank you.

Well that is confusing! Were you able to confirm one?

No idea. I've been mind-boggled trying to figure that one out since I'm pretty cautious.
There was a student in my sons class who went home on Thursday due to feeling sick but, nothing was said if it had worsened or if she had COVID.
I do wonder if parents are reporting less because I haven't heard of any cases at the schools but the boys have told me when someone goes home sick.

It feels pretty mild, thankfully 💜

That's strange they wouldnt test him right away - seems like protocol in a lot of places now to test before. Hope he recovers and it skips your house though!

Hi riss, long time no chat 💜💜💜 the pictures are adorable! Your dogs are soo cute! Thank you for sharing :D
Thanks Mad! I hope it misses us too. We have a Para out with it. She thought she just had a cold but got tested and was positive. I watch her child when she goes for noon break. I hope hands were washed because this child has to have his hand held all the time or he runs from you. Never ending!

Good morning, Mad. I hope you feel better soon.

Good morning, DMC, I hope your new job goes well.

Good morning, Debby.
Good morning, everyone.
Hi Janie! Thanks! Today was a rough day. I had to sub for another Para and this child needs one on one help. She is mean, and pinches, slaps, and pointed her scissors at me a couple times. She is 5. I told her special education teacher if this had been my first day it would have been my last. I will probably have her the rest of the week. I hope tomorrow is better:th

Thanks Debby, and I hope you enjoy having hubs home again. Igor will be home the next four days so I’m hoping one of those days we can get the shade on the garden and he will cut me some wire for a trellis.

Yup, surgery tomorrow at 0900.
Have fun! OK, you won't, but you'll be able to see better in a few days.

Is there ever a time when there AREN'T employee issues at the course?

It should be closing soon, right? Then DH can hang around with you.

Good morning, All!

But wow, the interesting stories you can tell...if you survive!
Seriously, I worked MHMR (mental health and mental retardation- no longer politically correct but not sure what it's called now) for a few years. It is stressful working with people who have very little impulse control and little, to no, empathy or respect for others.
Good luck and hang in there!
