It was a mistake on their end so they messaged the someone higher up. Despite how I feel about the situation, I just want to apologize. That sounds frustrating MadMaybe there is a "higher up" at the bank you could call and talk to?

Good morning everyone![]()
Good morning all you early birds. I'll leave the worms to the lot of you.
You had every right to lose your temper. Banks are service providers and solid customer service should be their most important goal. The more DHS dabbles with banks, the more they forget their first responsibility.I lost my temper at the bank on Friday. It wasn't super crazy but I've been dwelling on it all weekend longI do not like confrontation.
Banking with them for 12 years and since COVID, all the originals retired so there's only new people and they wouldnt let me deposit my check because my maiden name wasnt changed in their system. I was trying to explain that I was upset this was overlooked for 4 years but she ignored me... several timesso that got me all flustered. I just hate how I can't stop thinking about it and feeling so cringy.
I'll take it![]()
They took that away the third quarter of my first century.Good morning, Sour.all out of worms, but you can have the spring chicken award.
Thank you. I'm sure they see so many people, and run into situations all the time. Looking back, maybe she didnt know how to deal with an upset customer especially how she ignored me.When I closed my business account, the bank made the check for the remaining funds out to the business, rather than to me. It took months to get it straightened out! I was beginning to think that money would be in limbo for the rest of my life.
Don't worry about losing it. I did too, when I apologized the next day, it was like they had already forgotten me!
Rules are meant to be applied with common sense. Some people just shouldn't have any power over the rest of us.
Do what makes you feel best, but I have little tolerance for 'attitude' when it is not my fault. We pulled our accounts from a bank that we had used for 45 years because of poor attitude on the part of management - and explained why we were doing so.It was a mistake on their end so they messaged the someone higher up. Thank you, it does feel validated. I've played it over and over so many times in my headGood morning Mad, have a great day
Good morning Sour, have a great day

Yeah, I don't like banks but it's out of necessity. I like paper but everything is going electronicDo what makes you feel best, but I have little tolerance for 'attitude' when it is not my fault.
