Good morning, everyone!! So glad yesterday was yesterday and not today!
My full spine MRI was at 4 pm. Thatās kinda late in the day to begin an almost 3 hour test, but when the clinic called to schedule it she said the next available appointment was Feb 28th. Nope. Not doing it on our anniversary.
We spent far too much money shopping before my appointment - ceiling fans, chandelier (but not a fancy one) for the dining room, bath mats for the slippery showers, paint, motion detector switches for the utility room and pantry, shoes for Ken, and a āpaintingā that Iād planned to put in the dining room. It has various shades of gray in it with fall foliage and I thought it would tie the coral kitchen and gray dining room together nicely. Gotta admit I liked it better in the store than in the dining room - itās just not big enough for that much empty wall space. I put it in the guest room until we decide what to do with it and guess what? It looks great in there!! So now I still have nothing for the dining room. <sigh>
Found a front door we liked but didnāt buy it. It and the vertical blinds for the patio door were longer than the pickup bed and we didnāt want to be driving all over Billings and park at the hospital with them jutting out, so we figured weād just go back for them after my appointment. I didnāt get out of there until a few minutes before 7 and we were both too exhausted to go back to Home Depot and mess with tying them down after dark. Weāll go back another day.
Today is Feeās surgery on her face. Gotta have her there by 8. Sheās mad - sheās hungry but she couldnāt eat last night. I just hope whatever they do today clears it up - weāve been fighting this since the end of December. Keep fingers crossed for her.
