You couldn’t be more correct Janie.Ugh, my daughter is a 911 dispatcher working 12 hour shifts with a 60 mile one way drive. I feel for Tam!She hates it. She hates the 50 minute drive in late afternoon to work and especially coming home in the morning after a 12 hour overnight shift. And it’s a state run facility instead of a nicer one like where she was - quite a difference in how it’s operated. She’d like to take a break from health care altogether but jobs are so scarce around here. Well, she’s the one who list her temper and quit - she’s got to take the consequences.
When I lived in the DC area, I could get to work in 9 minutes if I timed it right or 2 1/2 hours if not.When my brother and sis-in-law lived back east, my brother had to travel 90 minutes each way to go to work (and that's when the traffic was moving). They didn't live there any longer than they had to.

Wow! I have an 11 mile drive one way. It’s great.When I lived in the DC area, I could get to work in 9 minutes if I timed it right or 2 1/2 hours if not.
