Good morning, everyone!!

One more room knocked out! Ken said he was going to start cleaning off the trim and baseboards in the guest bathroom so we could start painting in there. Like all the trim and baseboards in here, they were still covered in texturing overspray and caulk from the contractor setting the house. I had to run down to Tam’s for a bit so we figured we’d paint when I got back.

I came home and all there was left to paint was the area above the shower, and he was working on that. He did a great job, too! I don’t have the heart to tell him that he just used the wrong paint color. I’ll learn to live with a blue/gray bathroom and I’ll learn to love it because he did it. He’s paying for it today - he’s stiff and sore and miserable from getting up and down on the stepstool. Usually he does the paint rolling and baseboard areas and I do the cutting-in up high. But it’s done. We’re down to the master bath and possibly the utility room…we haven’t decided if we’re even going to paint in there.

Nice to come home and have the bathroom painting taken care of Blooie. Might have to get Ken a little present...an industrial size tube of Aspercreme!

Nice!

We do need to recover between jobs when we are older.
