Loan papers for converting the loan completed. We close the 30th of March and we did get the 3% interest. Life is good!

When is the best time?

Any time but summer, Mad. Fall is my favorite time of the year. It's like a respite from the heat. Of course, our fall is usually still in the upper 70s and 80s....maybe November. Come for Thanksgiving. Lol. It may be in the 60s by then.

Good morning, World! Snowing like crazy out there after a bluebird day yesterday. Shoot, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Darth Vader show up by this afternoon!

It's been fabulous having the baby! He's cute beyond words. I still can't pronounce his name, and neither can anyone else. Zeandarricah
We just call him Z.
My niece went missing. She didn't show up to get her kids from the babysitter, and her phone was found on the side of the road. After several terrifying days she was found safe. Her ex boyfriend had kidnapped her and was holding her in a canyon near here. Now she's home safe, and he's in jail.
DD2 is in the hospital. She was feeling incredibly light headed so she went to urgent care. They discovered she had an ectopic pregnancy that had ruptured, and she was bleeding internally. They did emergency surgery and she should be fine. She has to stay in the hospital for a few days though, because she lost over 2 liters of blood and they want to monitor her. I have her 5 kids while she's in the hospital.
So everything is good, but at times... my life feels like a poorly written movie of the week.

Oh, I can so relate!! We went through Little DIane missing for over a month….in fact it was 11 years ago last month. That was at exactly the time we learned that Kendra would be born with Spina Bifida. I’ve raised grandkids from the time they were born, and had full custody of Little DIane and Jamie. It seemed like every time I turned around, there was a new crisis, and they never seemed to come singly - always in clumps! Bless you for what you’re doing for Baby Z. Can I confess something without seeming uncaring. When I first saw the name you typed out, I immediately thought, “He’ll never find his name on a mug or keychain!”

But the Good Lord never promised us that there wouldn’t be rocks and boulders in our path as we walked it - He just promised that we’d never walk it alone!
