Tam is sooooo talented, the painting is gorgeous!
 
We just got done transferring all the company house stuff into this little Casper house. The cats are enjoying the towers of boxes, but I feel like a mouse in a maze. The next challenge for me is to sort through all that stuff and condense it down to about half. Good grief, stuff accumulates!

How are you going to get to half? I had to get rid of so much stuff when we downsized. It was sad and wonderful to give things up. I don't know if that makes sense. It reminded me of the first time I had my hair cut. Lol. I felt so light, but I missed it too.

Katie made it to the Finals!!! She didn’t place in the Final, but she pulled a very praise-worthy 7th place out of 44 competitors in her category!! Not bad for a Freshman in her first year of Speech!! :love:love

Another update from the competition:

As I mentioned before, Katie took 7th during semi-finals. That means a 7th place over every competitor in every class - 4A, 3A, and 1A/2A schools. Isabelle took first over all those classes. But then I later learned that Katie also took a very impressive 2nd place over all of the 3A schools, and Isabelle took first. Isabelle has also been crowned the State Champion!! Boy, when you guys send good luck you do it in a big way!! At this point I’m not sure if Katie is riding the bus with the team or flying home on pure excitement!! A 7th place overall and a 2nd place in her division…..what a weekend for her! Unheard of for a Freshman at State! Here are Katie and Isabelle sporting their medals!
