Good morning all!

@rjohns39 Thanks! I’m just shocked at how well he’s doing, but relieved and grateful at the same time.

Springtime weather is an absolute beast! Here it’s another bright, sunny, dry day, but I see a lot of you aren’t faring so well. I know we’ll see a major snowstorm before June - possibly even in June, it’s happened before - so I’m just waiting for that shoe to drop here.

We are surprised when we get a snowstorm in the winter. Lol. Cannot even imagine getting one in May or June!

When DH and I first moved here to WY, several people told us to not be surprised if we saw snow showers in July. We haven't seen that but it's not uncommon to see some in May. Right now, we're looking at over 6" this coming week. :sick

In 2019, we got snow on June 21, the first official day of summer. Then we had snow on September 21, the first official day of fall. That was during Ken’s year as Grand Master and we were in Tucson, Arizona for an official visit. The day we left Tucson, June 21, it was 102 degrees there. We got off the plane in Billings and it was 31 degrees and snowing. Yikes!! That means we only had 3 months of actual summer. :gig

My (30 y.o.) "baby" just bought a new motorcycle. It's his 3rd since high school. I don't know why I'm terrified, but I am. Those Colorado mountain roads are scary to a mom. (& they are so far from home.)

He did purchase a new helmet for my darling daughter-in-law, and he still has all his gear. I told them, that they have too many four legged children to be biking! I feel like a hypocrite. I rarely used a helmet back when we road. I was irresponsible. But, you know, my babies are special!

How long before you are moved, Debby? Maybe you won't have to shovel snow after next week.

We never get 3 months of actual winter. We get warm, hot, hotter, warm, and a little cool most years.
It is too hot for April!
I scoff, we have been in the 90s already! I'm hoping the drought won't be too bad this summer, and that we won't have too many over 100 days.

Babies (no matter the age) are special! Since this new bike is his 3rd, he's probably learned to be careful so hopefully he'll be ok. He looks really happy with it!
