You sure the motor can't be rebuilt if it is a problem? The pump for the stupid pool was having issues starting by the fall of 2020 so I took it to a repair shop. IIRC he replaced a capacitor. Electric motors are pretty simple. Maybe a better option than tossing it and spending hundreds on a new one.

Good afternoon, all. I had an awful day yesterday. We lost our cat (Tommy Chew) yesterday. I was mowing the grass and may have left the door ajar. At any rate he disappeared. I saw a van stop on the side of the road, and I think they picked him up. Been all over creation looking for him.

Good afternoon everyone I hope you’re all well. Been busy with yard and house work. Our apple tree showed up last week so I put it in a pot. Now I’ll have to pray all summer that it lives until I can transplant in fall when it’s cooler.

@Blooie I can relate to doggy disasters. One of our dogs liked to dig for a bit so there was a hole
In the yard. Then it rained for a few days. My white dog had a mud mask up to her eyes and her brother was covered in it from playing with her. Can’t forget the trail of mud from the doggy door through the house twice, across the carpet and onto the bed. Not. Fun.
