Good afternoon, all. I had an awful day yesterday. We lost our cat (Tommy Chew) yesterday. I was mowing the grass and may have left the door ajar. At any rate he disappeared. I saw a van stop on the side of the road, and I think they picked him up. Been all over creation looking for him.

About 10 years ago, Tornadoes were recognized as occurring in California. They are not very strong though and do not travel far.

Good to know!

My mom would always say "its not possible, that's why we get hail" but now, I'm starting to realize she probably said that not to scare me.... ughh parents... always had an explanation so I never questioned.

I will likely be replacing our lawn mower soon. The current one is a 12 year old Black and Decker Electric. I replace the batteries a couple of years ago but the mower struggles to mow the front yard on a charge. It is likely the electric motor and that is too expensive to replace on that old of a mower!

I try to keep things as long as possible and 12 years on an electric mower is a good amount of use.

"No reason to replace if it still works" 12 years is a long time, especially if it's been used.

My youngest is sickie high fever for 3 days. He hasn't been sick in so long he didn't even know what he was feeling; headache, body aches, burning eyes, dizziness, a little upset stomach; when we tried doing an at-home test yesterday but he cried and screamed, it was a nightmare.
Debating on taking him to get tested instead but, the fact that he's sooo uncomfortable makes me question if it's worth it.
Thankfully the rest of us are doing well
