The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

It's been an emotional morning here. While packing up some stuff for the move I found a large batch of cards and letters I had squirreled away. They were from people near and dear to my heart, most of which have now passed away. It got to me to go through them, but I have to remember how lucky I have been to have had such wonderful people in my life.

That's probably more than you wanted to know!
I got very melancholy when we were packing up too, Debby, and I went through my “treasure boxes”. I get it. :hugsIt was especially hard reading old notes and cards from Austin. When he was 7 he gave me a paper”blue ribbon” he’d made because I was his “blue ribbon Gramma.”. I’m so glad I didn’t know that just a few years later a car crash would take him away from us forever.

Congrats on the edible easter contest!
Thanks Ron!
Congratulations DMC :woot

Your cupcakes were so cute! #176
Thank you Debby!
Congratulations DMC, your cupcakes are beautiful!
Thank you Janie!

How lucky we are to have had such special people Blooie ❤️

One of the things that's hardest about getting older, is there are more people to miss.

One of the things I had to laugh about was an envelope with a little beaded bracelet in it. My oldest son made it for me when he was probably about 10 and wrote on the envelope "because I've been such a pain in the butt" :gig

I'm going to have to share that with him when he gets here Monday.

Hi DMC, glad you had nice weather for your day off. Did you get your windows done?
No I didn’t, body pain got to me. I got all the screens washed and put in and the kitchen window and patio door washed. The windows can be washed from the inside. I’ll work on them again today. We planted the garden yesterday too. We probably should have waited:hmm
