Guys I am flypaper for morons today. Send an email Hey payroll, why aren’t we getting payments for this employee? Their response was I don’t see this person in our system, case closed. My reply, oh really? How do you explain the payments already received. Reopen the case. All. Freakin. Day.

Boy can I relate to that! One of my team mates who does NOT do professional services has been sitting on a statement of work for more than a month and dropped it in my lap an hour ago. Now I have the director of procurement pinging me wanting stuff and I haven't gotten through the statement of work yet. This was apparently a year long activity that just showed up an hour ago. Ugh!
