Those look NOTHING like the June bugs I know of.

Gonna be a lazy day for sure! I need to run out and check on the chicks, so I’m kinda waiting for one of those lulls in the rain. The big issue is the dogs’ feet…..I can take my shoes off at the door, but they can’t!

Oh i know it! I blame dogs and boys for the dirt that gets tracked in.

Good morning, Blooie. We seem to be entering drought season. Hot and humid as heck here. We have a few 100 degree days predicted next week.

No Bueno! We should hit 92 sometime this weekend or early next week and I thought that was bad lol.

We’ve been in drought conditions for a number of years now. We’ve barely even had any snow since 2018. So the moisture is most welcome…..the mud ain’t!!

One thing I’m grateful for is that we aren’t in a humid climate. I did that humidity thing most of my life and you can keep it!

Yeah, I am not a fan of humidity either :Lau but sometimes you can get a nice tan in humidity where you will fry dry in California.

Our part of the state in in the third year of drought. We have moved into stage 2 for water reduction. We are all supposed to reduce water use by 20%

She’s a Blue/Black/Splash Marans. She’s so doggone cute! The yellow and and the Buff bigger chicks are Ken’s Brahmas, Debby. They also have feathered feet
