Losing your home family pictures and all the sentimental things left to you from your parent's and friends that have passed on is absolute devastation because these things can never be replaced but it's a huge comfort that the nightmare has ended and I have now have some answers!

Not knowing is mental torture you are stuck in a box/prison when you finally have answers you can move forward too begin again

That's really good news! Addiction is a terrible thing. Sadly, it's very common here and I know a few people who have not been able to overcome it even with "help". It completely changes a person - the most trustworthy person can become a thief for their next high.
It takes a lot of mental strength to get on the right path and I hope your friend stays focused 💜 probably best to keep distance but a hopeful heart. You're a good person Marie :)

I can't truly say we are friends that takes time. I'm starting to think his family life's problems caused this maybe with professional help he can overcome it. Fingers 🤞
