The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I hope you guys didn’t get too sick.
I am still dealing with the smells and tastes being off. Some smells are really bad.
No, DW was feeling poorly the first few days with a fever over 100°F and had nasal congestion for well over a week. My biggest issue was weird muscle pain, like someone digging their fingers in and squeezing hard. I only had a fever on Friday and it was under 100°F.

And we've had to run the pool pump more due to the green algae.
Sadly I figured out I had to do that some years back. Figured I could get away with 12 hours a day but have to run it 24 hours. Still get some algae and have to dump in a gallon of shock sometimes. I am not a fan of the pool.

Definitely looking forward to the 95° on Wednesday.
We are looking at 90°F tomorrow and NOT looking forward to that! 75°F is nice ;)

I’m glad you are feeling better.

Thanks DMC. I've felt fine for 2 weeks! Surprised I still tested positive yesterday.
I’m not. You can supposedly test positive up to 90 days.

We had it over Thanksgiving. Hubby was supposed to have ear surgery in early February. He tested positive with no symptoms and they canceled surgery. Either he had it again or was still testing positive from Thanksgiving. He’s supposed to have surgery July 7th , if he doesn’t test positive. If he does he is going to completely cancel surgery. This is the 4th time it’s been scheduled.

My best friends husband was supposed to have surgery last Tuesday on his knee. He was sick the week before..doctors thought it was mold from hauling corn. He did 2 home tests, a couple days apart….both negative. He tested last Monday and it was positive, no surgery.

Cluttered and out of place is the MO here, sadly.

Doing fine, DW got Covid on the 6th, I came down with it on the 8th. I've not had any symptoms since the afternoon of the 10th but still tested positive on the rapid test yesterday. She went back to work today after getting a negative test on Wednesday.

Just mark it and delete!
