No vertigo with this hearing fiasco, thank goodness!! Went through that horror when my left ear stopped working 11 years ago. Hoping you get some relief and, most importantly, some answers!!

Seat belts and air bags save lives!!! All the airbags went off in our van a few weeks ago and as much trouble as I’m having with my right ear at the moment, I’m grateful that I’m still here to complain about it.

Such a blessing that nobody in that van was seriously hurt!! But how terrifying for everyone!!

Thank goodness!!!!

Kids are on their way to Denver today. Kendra has Spina Bifida clinics starting tomorrow. We’re praying they can resolve the issues with her Mitrofanoff……we haven’t been able to use it most of the time since they “revised” it last year. Ironically it was exactly one year ago today they were also on their way to Denver for her Mitrofanoff.

No plans for today. I’ll make some potato salad (not green, @sourland) and we may throw some chicken for us and and hot dogs for Ken on the grill. Other than that, just another boring day here. Everyone please be safe.

For whatever it's worth, the Covid test was negative. I find it somewhat interesting that when I masked for 26+ months I was not sick one time. In the last two months I have had a cold and last night's 'whatever'. Elaine, where are the masks?

Of course, it’s because you were masked that you’re more easily sickened now. That mask and the hand sanitizing and all that kept you from getting sick, and not just covid but flu and who knows what else? You don’t take those precautions now and your body hasn’t been exposed to all the crud, until now.

Last night we went to a cookout and firework show one of DH's employees does every year. Guess all the socializing wore me out, had to sleep late to recover I do love fireworks, brings back lots of memories...Dad taking us kids to the stands to pick out our favorites and then me doing the same with my boys and the "show" they would put on.
