The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Down here the crazy golfers show up before it's light outside, so the guys have to do as much work on the course as they can beforehand. This is a much busier golf course than the one in WY was, this place will see 100+ golfers a day. I guess a lot of them are vacationers.
It's all about 'beat the heat'.

I’m glad that is cooler for you. Uffda 🥵 We have about 10 days of that coming up.
Our days over 100 are usually for three days and then it goes down to the lo 90s and then goes back up.

We start another heat wave tomorrow-- 98 then 99 then 104 and then101 and 98.

That’s a lot of golfers. My son and his friends like to golf…I think they like to drink beer and drive the golf cart the best.
Other than the humidity, we aren't bad here temperature wise...it's currently 73* and expected to reach just 83*.
So do you feel like your home again? I imagine it’s a lot greener there.

The overwhelming majority of golfers I've met see golf as a reason to drink beer (like they need one  ).

Not quite feeling at home yet, but I'll get there. It's definitely a lot greener there. We get rain almost every day.

Maybe…I’m doing some cookies for a first birthday on the 22nd. Thanks for posting it. I usually don’t wander off this thread :D

I always thought Florida was hot and dry.

You always make such pretty baked goods...maybe the cookies would work for a contest entry :D

FL is warm and steamy and wet, that's why things are so green. Here's our forecast for the next 10 days:

Thanks Debby, that’s what I was thinking.

My sisters in laws live in Florida. She hates going there in the summer because of the heat. She never said it was rainy. Not sure where they are at though.
