My husband has been saying that next year, he's going to have to use shade cloth. I hope it won't be so hot and dry here next year, but I'm worried that it's our new normal.

Thank you Debby! I need all the rain vibes I can get. I hope Opie enjoyed meeting the new vet.

Be sure and get some pictures for us. New roofs are always so beautiful. They just brighten up a house.

I think shade is the new normal for a lot of things with the heat. Sad but true. Don’t let your hubs give up!

Hi Janie!
It’s only 1 guy and yes. He had his brother in law help one day and it must have been too much for him as he hasn’t been back. It takes awhile to get all the old shingles off. Hubby helped for a couple hours the other day. I think the guys brother is coming next week to help with the shingling of the garage that is not attached to the house.
