The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Queen Elizabeth has died at age 96. Wonder what (if any) changes will be felt here in the U.S.
My guess is that the USA royal watchers will be less interested. Now King Charles III isn't nearly as popular as was Queen Elizabeth II

I didn't know the line was organized that way. I thought it went through all the siblings then the next generation. That really was interesting
Nope, straight down to first born, sideways only if there is no child. That is how Elizabeth's father, King George VI got the throne when his brother King Edward VIII abdicated to marry Wallis Simpson, a divorced American commoner. Quite the scandal.

As you saw in the chart, Queen Elizabeth's siblings Andrew, Edward and Anne, along with their children, and Harry and his children are "nothing" with regard to succession when King Charles dies.

Good morning folks :frow

Good morning, Bruce 🐓Charles will probably be more fun for royal watchers. They can gossip about his past with the Queen consort.
Stopping by real quick to say, good moooooooorning everyone 💜🐄

He didn't help his popularity any with the 1st wife/2nd wife drama.

I'm getting really fed up with my cat's vet office. So far in the 3 months I've been taking them there, they've messed up the charges twice and caused problems with switching up the appointments twice.

The appointment confusion just happened again. Pip was scheduled for Thurs. the 15th for dental surgery. They called yesterday to say some equipment was broken and needed to reschedule her for Tues. the 20th. Now they're calling me to say the equipment is fine and they want us to keep the original appointment, only they say the original appointment was Tues. the 13th. Whatever, just tell me for sure the where and when.

If we can get this last kitty's dental surgery taken care of, I'm very tempted to switch to another vet. And one that's a lot closer to home.
