The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning, Debby 🎅 🤶 🎄

Good morning, DMC 🎅 ☃️ 🎄

You all are made of stear stuff, up that way!

Good morning, IM 🎅 🎄 ⛄

Yikes! Who made that rule? They should be out there with you.

Good morning, Mark 🎅 ❄️ 🎄
Those swans are lucky to have you!

Good morning, Bob 🎅 ⛄🎄
I don’t know who made the rule. I’m thinking it’s a state thing. We have so many parents that do not dress their kids properly. I get so angry. I brought a kindergarten kid in to the office today because he was wearing socks on his hands. He was crying. I try and catch kids before they get out but there are too many to catch them all. We have people that donate winter stuff, thank goodness.
Janie said what I was thinking...the people that made that recess decision should have to be out there with you!
I agree!
Good morning Bob, hope today goes well!

Good morning Janie, guess we know now not to mess with DMC...she's tough!
No I’m not. The windier it gets the louder I whine. 😝 There was no wind today so it was really nice. We had a visitor at recess today and after school. It was pajama day today. I did not wear mine.

DH and DS may have enabled him to be stubborn another year. Good on them!

Fairly short given it likely takes a LONG time to get them in and out of their snow suits?

Geez, I read the later post from DMC. An HOUR??? in -10°F plus wind? That is child AND "elder" abuse!!!!!!!
-10 with windchill. I should have clarified…still abuse. The kids are out about 1/2 hour.

Looks good Cynthia! How are you doing?
I'm hanging on there. Finally got a diagnosis. And, I honestly can't remember if I ready shared on here. I have an answer to my vertigo. After years and years of going to specialists. Had a dr. here in town suggest I go to UVU. Saw an ENT there. Says, I have VM. Vestibular Migraines. I don't have the pain, but dizzy, unstable..just no fun holding onto walls, walking with a cane or walker on extra bad days. I never know what my day will be like until my feet hit the floor. Dizzy..or not so dizzy. Plus, making Long story short, I also have BVD. Binocular Vision Disorder. Something that Vestibular problems can affect.. the eyes. Waiting on some prism glasses for that. Just like a lot of illnesses, there's that umbrella. Many different types of migraines under there. I'm now on some medication that is actually giving me ..better days. Still have bad days. There is no cure. I'm chronic so I'm blessed to have some good days. And..you asked! :)

Cookie making is done - I think. Anyways granddaughter is heading for home tomorrow morning. It was a joy having her here especially since it was on her own volition. She was a great influence. I did not swear one time. :lau

Sounds like a great time was had by all...and the cookies got done!

It has to be helpful to have a diagnosis and a treatment plan. Glad that the medication is helping and giving you some good days. :hugs
