Good morning, Debby. You don't see Ronald McDonald anymore. Apparently most people don't care for clowns. Did you watch Bozzo when you were young? I guess we were the last generation to enjoy clowns. Now they are the stuff of nightmares.

Good morning, IM. I've read it (much better than the movie) and I enjoyed it. Though I don't think it was his best work.
My favorite Stephen King book was The Stand. That one gave me nightmares the mini series was awful and miscast. My favorite King movie was The Shining.

I totally agree with you on the books Janie. As for the movies, I didn't much care for The Shining with Jack Nicolson, but the tv version with Steven Weber and Rebecca DeMornay I thought was really good.

I have to agree The Shining was good. My favorite movie is The Green Mile. My favorite book…that’s tough, I’ve read just about everything he’s ever written. IT was not his best work I agree, I thought the spider was dumb. That clown though, I still get a chill up my spine when I step up to a curb near a storm drain It didn’t make me afraid of clowns in general though

I have to agree The Shining was good. My favorite movie is The Green Mile. My favorite book…that’s tough, I’ve read just about everything he’s ever written. IT was not his best work I agree, I thought the spider was dumb. That clown though, I still get a chill up my spine when I step up to a curb near a storm drain It didn’t make me afraid of clowns in general though

Agreed, the spider was a bad idea, a real let down in the scary factor from the clown.

Salems Lot was the first King book I read (lots of years ago ) and that one gave me nightmares.
