The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning, DMC. I hope your Sunday is fabulous!

Good morning, IM. I've read it (much better than the movie) and I enjoyed it. Though I don't think it was his best work.
My favorite Stephen King book was The Stand. That one gave me nightmares the mini series was awful and miscast. My favorite King movie was The Shining.
I watched and read Children of the Corn and Salems Lot. Scared the crap out of me!

Good morning everyone :frow

Good morning everyone, happy Sunday!

IM, glad you figured out how your got hurt so you won't do it again.

DMC, I have no idea how to get your photos off your old phone but hopefully someone here can help.

Janie, that clown picture is a bit awesome and a bit scary all at the same time :gig
Good morning Debby 😊
Good morning y'all! Happy sunny Sunday! 🌞
Good morning Janie 😊
Thanks and you also.
Good morning DMC 😊
Good morning everyone, have a beautiful day!

Good morning Debby

Good morning Wonder Woman!

Read IT any Stephen King, that clown is one some serious steroids! I still like clowns, in a creepy sort of way.

Good morning DMC
Good morning IM 😊 I used to read his books, I think the book IT was better and I still to this day avoid the curbs 🙄 but I also don't walk on the grates all over the sidewalks.

Hello Sour.
Hello Bob.
It's a beautiful day here, again. A little chilly, but still very nice.

Mark, what do you have against clowns?

They have their purpose. Like if you're stuck on the ice and there is a clown handy, throw it under the tires they make good traction. If you want to practice shooting and don't have a target, use a clown. Last but not least if you need a punching bag, get an inflatable clown. :lau

Good morning Mark, you should tell us how you really feel about clowns :gig

Agreed, the spider was a bad idea, a real let down in the scary factor from the clown.

Salems Lot was the first King book I read (lots of years ago :D) and that one gave me nightmares.
Yeah, that one is creepy. I watched a limited series on Netflix called Midnight Mass that made me think of that book.

:highfive: Good morning Sue. I don’t like those grates either

Yeah, IM weird like that 😁 I don't want something pulling me in or having the grate collapse 🙄

Janie, I think you mentioned Bozo, I remember watching all the time

IllI totally agree with you on the books Janie. As for the movies, I didn't much care for The Shining with Jack Nicolson, but the tv version with Steven Weber and Rebecca DeMornay I thought was really good.
I didn't see that one. 😕 I'll have to look for it. I liked the movie better than the book, which is a rare thing. (Shelly Duval wasn't very good in it, though.)
I also loved the movie, Pet Sematary. Fred Gwynne's casting was unexpected and genious. They should not have made sequels.
