Yep, it's a little known Van Gogh piece of work called "Kitty in a Starry Night". And this was back before going one-eared was the "in" thing to do.

Ladies, you heard it here first...the latest in fashion, may I present "cartoon boots"

Warning: They are reportedly difficult to take off.

Isn't is amazing that people will actually buy and wear something as stupid as that to "fit in"?

Wonder if they can develop an Emerald borer resistant Ash tree?

I think that would be more difficult since the Emerald Ash Borer is an insect. How do you make a tree resistant to being invaded and chewed from the inside?

I have the lift type, and I like it for its greater capacity, but I do wish it had the convenience of the tilt head in terms of being able to have more clearance when adding things.

One problem I have encountered with the lift kind is that you need to be careful to add ingredients from the right. I have had issues with the switch on mine because I had been adding from either side and and flour/sugar dust had gotten into the contacts for the switch, and I had to open it up and clean it out as best I could.

Thanks for the reply, I got her the tilt head. She said she didn't need the bigger volume of the lift type. So, other than the color, her's is the same as ours.

Well, if you were to put it spelled properly in you signature, people might know the correct spelling

I didn't know croc made boots, I'll have to go check them out to see how they compare to the cartoon boots.

A little while ago I saw the a/c repair van pull up. I let DH know they were here to fix our a/c so he ran home to "supervise". But no such luck. Apparently someone else on this road is having a/c problems and they were here to fix theirs and just using our driveway to turn around.

Dastardly repair people, got my hopes up only to dash them!

They probably wouldn't be quite so bad, but I bought yellow.
They are old, but sturdy and they keep my feet dry.
