Extremely good, but realistically too expensive to become a routine thing. :( I had sea bass at a 'steak house' - absolutely great.

DH's Christmas party was the first time we went and I was glad someone else was footing the bill. It's pricey, but for a special treat it's nice. I had seafood when we went too (shrimp app and a fish main) and it was delicious. DH said his steak was one of the best and he's not a big steak guy.

Hope the Princess had an enjoyable birthday!

I think the most expensive meal that I've had was at the Melting Pot in Knoxville.
We took another couple along, and did all the courses and drinks, from appetizers to deserts and chocolate martinis (husband's stuck with craft beers)
We were there for almost 3 hours and the cost was outrageous, but it was unforgettable. And I loved all that seafood, steak, and oh my goodness, that fondue.
Thankfully, our hotel was close enough to walk back. (Both for the exercise and the alcohol)

It's fun to get an occasional special treat like that!
