I didn’t wake up in the middle of the night as I usually do so I’m raising my buns and thawing my hamburger in front of the fireplace.

I do not usually thaw out that much ground beef at one time! But when I do, I set the microwave at 30% power for 4 minutes and turn at 2 minutes. That gets a chill off of the meat and then I thaw the rest of the way in the fridge. If I do that in the morning, the meat is thawed for preparing the evening meal at 5pm.

I'm pretty good 85% of normal. The Princess is still down for the count. I think that she was dehydrated. Pumping Gator Ade into her.

Maybe he's just doing some exploring Janie. Once strays find a place that feeds them well, they usually make it home.

He is home! He came home, ate two cans of cat food, and left again. Just like a real man.

Scaredy Cat was big on taking 'walkabouts' when she was younger. Encroaching old age has made her into a homebody.

It was only 3 lbs and I needed it in the oven by 10:30. I thawed it a little in the microwave first.
