Good morning folks! No cygnets this year, I smashed the eggs yesterday. I think that weather when they started sitting caused intermittent sitting. the pen was not done laying and the cob started sitting on the eggs early, then he quit for a few days and the pen took over. The embryos were partially developed but then went rotten.

Morning Mark, sorry to read there won't be any baby swans this year.

My day is going. It's our first anti-rain day in a while. I've been out pulling weeds. I'm In for my 2nd glass of coffee, and hoping the ground dries up enough to use a weed eater soon.

I think we'll like KY just fine...we better, because I am not moving again From what I've seen of it, it really is a pretty state, very hilly and tons of trees. I haven't heard about the Blue Fugues of Kentucky but now I'll have to look them (it?) up.
