The University of Minnesota Raptor Center visited the school today. It was pretty neat to see these birds up close.

Good morning folks! No cygnets this year, I smashed the eggs yesterday. I think that weather when they started sitting caused intermittent sitting. the pen was not done laying and the cob started sitting on the eggs early, then he quit for a few days and the pen took over. The embryos were partially developed but then went rotten.

It was an odd year here too apparently! The Atmospheric rivers and Nasty weather seems to have messed up the Duck hatching her on campus. I have not seen any ducklings this year.

Good afternoon everyone. Went for my old lady wellness check. Had blood drawn, finally. Only took three tries to get all 4 viles filled. One made a rush of air that I've never heard before..she hurried and took it out. To the other arm..a guy came to help. Couldn't get blood to start. I pointed to one that has been a good giver before. He says, well, it's tiny, we can try. It worked just fine. Never, have I had this much of a problem with anyone getting my blood.. Have a great day!!
