Vent gleet help

(i dont fully know how this site works so i apologize if any of this is odd) one of my adult hens seems to have vent gleet, she has discharge on her butt, runny poop, lethargy, and seems very sick. I want to know how i should treat it. I have a cream for athletes foot which research says can help, but some sources say the specific active ingredient, terbinafine hydrochloride, shouldnt be used without vet advice (we dont have any poultry vets nearby) as it can cause sensitivity, should i use it? I dont have any other creams that can help this and i cant go buy anything right now. Also: i plan on using a water treatment thing for digestive health as instructed for 7 days (its the backyard chicken zyfend a enzyme thingy), and im going to clean her butt with warm water in a few minutes, anything i should do differently before i start or anything else i can do for her? She’s extremely lethargic and barely moves by now (we didnt catch it fast unfortunately) so i want to do everything possible. Thanks.

I'm sorry she's sick. Cleaning was good. I usually trim feathers around her vent to make things easier. You can try giving her poultry vitamins/probiotics and calcium. That sometimes helps.

I don't know if you can tell when she last laid. Sometimes this kind of thing can mean an egg is stuck. The treatment in that case is to help her lay it with calcium supplements, hydration, and assistance if necessary.

Otherwise, I have used a cream to treat gleet before, but coconut oil seemed to work best.

I forgot to mention, internal parasites can cause this, as well. Any vet should be able to test her droppings for worm eggs, including dog vets. It shouldn't be expensive. They may not know the best treatment for your flock, but can do the test.

How old is she?

Shes a few years, anywere from 3-6 id say. She doesnt look eggbound, hasnt layed an egg since before winter, and i dont see anything in her droppings (although ik id probably not be able to see it) but instead they are runny in a way that aligns with vent gleet and her butt looks like the feathers online. Its late here and i wasnt able to clean her butt fully but i will tomorrow and ill trim her feathers too. I just put some enzyme stuff i have for digestion in their water and put some athletes foot cream on her butt, with how fast chickens can decline then die im worried she wont make it overnight and then we’d have an uncomfortably small flock of adults (with her we have three hens and some chicks they are separated from). Hopefully she makes it.

No she doesnt seem to have sour crop, she was eating earlier and her crop seems normal and she has no issues near her mouth

Ok, that's good. Eating and drinking are good signs.

If you have a 100x microscope, it may be possible to make homemade floatation solution to look for parasite eggs. I have some links on that, somewhere...

I unfortunately dont have a microscope. I have a magnifying glass but i doubt that would work. Im going to fully clean her and trim her butt feathers tomorrow and apply the cream again and see how that helps. Every symptom she has aligns with vent gleet, i hope it is since i started treatment for that and i dont have any dewormers on hand.

Do you have photos of her, the vent and her poop?

Personally, I would not use the Terbinafine Hydrochloride. If she has Vent Gleet, keep her washed up.
When you can, get some Miconazole, Clotrimazole or Nystatin to treat her.
