I must be looking really old today. I was at Home Depot putting water softener salt bags in a cart when a random shopper asked if I needed help. I thanked him for the offer and assured him that I was doing fine.

I have a neighbor that loves helping others. I once asked him about doing something, if he thought he could. He says of course, I'm not dead yet. lol, good friend. He's around 75 I think. Was close to my Scott's age.

Maybe they just hadn't done their good deed for the day and you looked as likely a target as any.
