The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning everyone, it’s FRIYAY :celebrateHave a fabulous day all!
Good morning IM 🐦
Good morning IM, you also!
Good morning, DMC 🐦
When we had our little farm in mid-FL we raised meat rabbits. We ate a few of them but it always bothered me to know who it was. :sick
Good morning, Debby. 🐦
I feel the same about chicken. It's why I won't raise a pig. I like bacon but knowing my meat had a personality bothers me.

Have a doctor appointment this morning and need to run...you all have a great morning, see you later!
Safe travels!
I can understand that. When we processed chickens I always waited long enough to forget who was who before I cooked them.
You're tougher stuff than I am.
I just cannot do it.

I have long said that English is about the worst language around for just this reason. Of course I don't know any others so I'm stuck with it.

he said they don't require a survey of property lines or need to get a permit.
That is nuts. And just how much would it cost to move the fence when the neighbor shows you the lot lines based on survey pins you don't know about? Or how much of your property are you willing to give to the neighbor because you THINK you know where the lot lines are?

I always have that self doubt in my mind.
You just cut that out!!! You've gotten well more than enough compliments to know you make great baked goods!!

DMC, I just remembered Father's Day is coming up so I got something for DH from Amazon and I think just maybe one of those emulsions fell into my order. ;)
Well of course it did, it is a present for him (once you bake it into something)

I now think the groundhog was the culprit!
You can probably bet on it.

It very well could have been!

DH and I are planning to do raised beds to keep the darned things out of any vegetable we raise. (Once we get around to doing a garden.)
Raised how high? I have one that is about 3'x3'x1' high, planted it with carrots last year. Groundhog ate the tops of everything it could reach and it could reach a LOT. Had to put a fence around it. Just put the fence on again yesterday, before the carrots get big enough for the SOB to get interested.

Brewster is on him lol

And a good FriYAY to you too!

Morning DMC, enjoy your day!
Hi Debby, you also!
What are you doing today DMC? I’m preparing to possibly be without a kitchen sink for the weekend. Yeah it shouldn’t even take a day, but you know how things can go sometimes.
I need to water my flowers and the garden. It’s cool this morning so I’ll do that after breakfast. We are going to Menards today to exchange an electrical box. Other then that, nothing.
I do know how things go. Are you putting a new sink in?
