We're having a fencing issue. Getting an estimate to do the work turned out to be the easy part. I actually have estimates from 2 companies. But trying to get someone out to do the survey is the hold up.

No survey, no fence is our thinking. Who wants to invest all that money into a fence that maybe have to be torn down if it isn't on our property.

Frustrating for sure! It seems everything is an uphill battle.

No, didn't think of him.

I found 5 surveying companies on my own. Company one and two have full voice mail boxes, the third has a recording that they aren't accepting phone calls at this time, and I've actually talked to humans at numbers 4 and 5. Both of them have told me they'll contact me to set up a date to come out and do the work but haven't heard back from either of them yet.

Life sometimes throws you curves. You all are stuck with me. We just had to cancel the trip.

Well that sucks. Not that we’re “stuck with” you but that trip won’t work out. Sorry sour!

Afternoon all. I couldn’t sleep last night and have managed to keep myself busy and awake so far today. Took a full trunk load of junk to Goodwill, mostly whatever my mother left here or gave me that I don’t want. I decided I should hang into it until I was sure her move would work out.

It feels good to get rid of stuff, doesn't it IM? Between last years move and this years, I could have created my own junk store.

My little cactus flowered. My friend gave me a paddle the last week of school. I wanted to see if it would live before I planted it. It is growing a new paddle too. Now I have to find a place to plant it where it won’t get trampled by animals or sprayed by my husband.
