Texas has been breaking records this year.
We have gone about 3 weeks now with our heat index from 104 to 117 every single day. They say we under an excessive heat advisory until at least July 10th. Our humidity is so high that it's hard to breath sometimes.

I believe I told you that when summer rolled around you could brag.. cause I did plenty of it when you had all that snow 🤣
Seriously though, I think we are adapting. The chickens were out playing until after lunch today. (They have been just laying in the shade from 11 until 7)
I stayed out for 4 hours with them this afternoon. I had a hen hatching and I was worried about her, so I sit with her while she hatched her chicks. Solidarity.

Morning IM. The house is coming along slowly but surely, still lots of projects to do but that's ok. I'm in :love with the washer & dryer being, thanks for asking :lol:

How are you doing this morning? Is a trip to the dog park on the agenda?
